Maize Native Collective at Trees for Charity

Madera Sunrise Rotary’s 39th annual Trees for Charity is Saturday, and the tree decorators for the participating 13 charities are working hard to make their trees irresistible for buyers. One hundred percent of the sale of the trees will go to the nonprofit organizations.

Participating for the first time is Maize Native Collective, organized as a 501(c)(3) public charity organization founded in 2023 and located in Fresno. The board is made up of tribal council members.

Maize Native Collective is an intertribal organization that promotes a culture of health and wellness for all, and dedicated to educating the general public, breaking stereotypes by presenting the traditions and societal contributions of Native Americans.
