The 16th annual MadTown Throwdown robotics competition energized Matilda Torres High School on November 8 and 9, with 30 teams from across California and Mexico showcasing more than 48 robots in two days of high-intensity matches.

World Champion MadTown Robotics Team 1323, which has earned world titles in 2019, 2023, and earlier this year, once again made a strong showing.

In the final rounds, teams formed alliances of three robots each, and MadTown Robotics 1323 and their alliance emerged victorious after defeating an opposing alliance that included their own MadTown Robotics B robot lowerclassmen, Team 9999.
