Travelers and RV enthusiasts can once again stay at the Madera District Fairgrounds as the Madera District Fair officially reopens its RV campground with a new online reservation system designed to make booking faster and more convenient.
Located in the heart of the Central Valley, the campground offers an ideal stop for visitors traveling through Madera County or heading to nearby destinations. Guests can now reserve their stay online through CampLife, providing a streamlined reservation experience.
The campground features full hook-up RV sites, water and electric sites with access to an on-site dump station. Spacious grassy and shaded campsites, and pet-friendly accommodations. However, pets must remain on a leash
The nightly rates are $65 per site.
The campground is open exclusively to recreational vehicles. Tent camping and car camping are not permitted.
Guests may stay for a maximum of three consecutive nights. Return stays are not permitted within seven days of departure. Reservations must be made and paid for in advance through the online reservation system.
A limited number of sites include electrical, sewer and water connections. Electrical service includes 20- and 30-amp/110-volt hookups as well as 50-amp/220-volt hookups.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, only propane barbecue grills are permitted. Wood fires, charcoal fires and other open flames are prohibited. Trailers without an operable tow vehicle are not allowed.
Access to the dump station is located on the interior of our grounds through Gate 3, Monday-Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. There is no use after hours or on weekends.
RV owners can pay for the dump station online for $17, but be prepared to show staff your receipt for access to the station. Additionally, they can stop in the office to pay $15 cash at the counter during office hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Visitors should note that the Madera District Fairgrounds hosts events throughout the year, including the Madera Speedway season from March through October. Indoor events may include amplified music until 11 p.m.
The campground closes annually from Aug. 1 through Sept. 30 to accommodate the Madera District Fair. Additional dates may be unavailable due to other scheduled events at the fairgrounds.
