I am writing in response to recent concerns raised about the Bonadelle Mutual Water Company, specifically highlighting the collaborative efforts in addressing the water-related challenges faced by this private water system in the Madera Ranchos.
I have been actively engaged in working with Madera County Public Works, Environmental Health, and Administration to support the water company. The focus has been on securing a grant from the Department of Water Resources (DWR) to replace a malfunctioning well that has impacted their water supply.
It is worth noting that the Bonadelle Mutual Water Company is a private water system with 23 connections serving approximately 50 residences in Madera Ranchos, including the vital service to Madera County Fire Station 19. The current well was drilled in 1999 to a depth around 400 feet.
