Letters: Madera’s ‘National monument’

There is not a world record pothole. I looked it up.

I have several on my road that are big and bigger. One, I stepped off as 8 feet by 6 feet by 6 inches deep, plus or minus. I thought of submitting it for the record, but if it won, then it may become a National Monument and can’t be molested.

This road was in the County and is now annexed by the City. When this happens, they rename the road. This has not happened, so perhaps they need a suggestion. At first, I thought Gloria’s Way, after my wife, but then that would not be tribute to her because of the condition.
