The opinion piece by Mr. Wieland on Saturday, August 3, is very important! He finishes by saying, “Thank you, Mr. President.” This piece has been playing on my mind since first reading it and I just could not let it go, reading it and skimming through it more than once.
Before going further, I need to state again, as I have in the past, that I am not a Trump fan.
The author states that the piece is an, “excerpt (space limitations) of his speech for the ages.” My first thought after reading the piece is that he, the president, did not write this speech.
