City of Madera may be on to something: Don’t sponsor a fireworks display. Just let the people set off their illegal stuff.
Arrest them and pocket the money.
We still got to view them, even though it was at a distance.
The fireworks were on the east side of the 99, which gave us a fair viewing without the noise.
Dogs were happy and we didn’t have the litter of pizza boxes, beer and soda containers. No traffic. It was great! Let’s do it again next year.
