Mark your calendars for September 27, at 10 a.m. This day will mark the 94th year of the Old Timers’ Day Parade.

Leading this year’s parade as grand marshal will be a longtime downtown business owner Chris Miller. Accompanying him as the Honorable King and Queen of the Parade will be lifelong Madera residents Randy and Sheryl Berry.

This year’s special honoree will be the late Monte Pistoresi. A moment of silence will be held at the announcement booth for Pistoresi as a longtime parade announcer, and last year’s grand marshal.
