The Greater Madera Kiwanis Club has installed its president for 2024/25.

Brett Moglia takes over for outgoing President, John Markle. Moglia is a veteran of the United State Marines Corps, had a career in law enforcement, is now a music teacher and Madera County firefighter, and is founder and owner of the local band, The Yard Dog.

Moglia says the club plans to continue with its great annual events, including; Mothers Day Run, Madera 4th of July Fireworks Show, and various donations to causes in Madera. One of his goals is to bring the next generation not only into the club, but for that next generation to see all the events and programs in which Kiwanis are involved.
