Front Desk

Erica Gonzalez works part-time at the front desk in the Madera Tribune office. She greets customers and answers the phone, with a friendly, warm spirit.

She came to join the team in November 2025, after raising her special needs son as a stay-at-home mom.

Born and raised in Madera, she graduated from Madera High, then attended Madera Community College where she received an AA degree in Child Development, then went to Fresno Pacific University to earn her Bachelor’s degree. She loves working with children, and previously worked at Lambs of Christ Childcare Center. Since 2008, she has taught Sunday School to small children at Madera United Methodist Church.

Besides working at the Tribune, you may find Erica occasionally at pop-up events, where she sells crafts with her son, Sebastian.

She loves to cook and bake, and spend time with her son and her boyfriend, Javier.
