The Madera County Sheriff’s Communications Center received an emergency call regarding a gunshot wound victim at a location in the area of Road 222 and Road 274 in Bass Lake.
It was reported Saturday afternoon before 4 p.m. that an adult male had been shot and was bleeding.
Deputies responded to the scene and immediately began rendering aid to the victim. EMS arrived shortly after and transported the man to an awaiting life flight helicopter where he was flown to a regional medical facility for treatment.
