On Jan. 15, the California Association of Probation State Administrator’s (CAPSA) recognized Madera County Probation Department Deputy Chief Stephanie Stoeckel for her outstanding achievements and awarded her the Central California CAPSA employee of the year.

On January 24, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central California also recognized Stoeckel’s outstanding achievements and awarded her Big Sister of the Year. Presenters of both awards cited kindness, caring, and compassion to describe her as well as the reason for her success.

Family, co-workers, county dignitaries, as well as her “little sister” were in attendance to honor her.
