After a distinguished 28-year career with the City of Madera, Madera Police Chief Dino Lawson, a law enforcement veteran with an impressive 37-year tenure, will be leaving the City on September 22.
“Chief Lawson’s commitment and leadership have left an enduring mark on our organization, and his departure as our Chief of Police will undoubtedly leave a notable void. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Chief Lawson for his passion and dedication to serving our community and wish him and his family well as he heads off to enjoy a new chapter in his life,” said Madera City Manager Arnoldo Rodriguez in a statement.
Taking over for Lawson will be Commander Gino Chiaramonte, effective September 23. He brings with him a remarkable career spanning 22 years within the Madera Police Department. His journey has been characterized by dedication, expertise, and a profound commitment to our community.
