California Highway Patrol motor officers from Bakersfield, Fresno, and Merced joined forces in Madera for a special enforcement operation on State Route 41 and Avenue 12.
A total of 16 CHP officers were on patrol focusing on primary collision factor violations. From 8 a.m-1 p.m., officers issued 134 citations and made 1 arrest. Of the 134 citations, 122 were for speeding.
