California Highway Patrol Madera officers responded to a traffic crash involving a school bus, in the area of Road 29 and Avenue 14.

During the investigation Tuesday at about 3 p.m., it was determined there were three vehicles involved, including a Madera Unified School District school bus with 38 students on board.

A 39-year-old female school bus driver was driving the school bus northbound on Road 29, and was stopped at the intersection at Avenue 14, waiting to make a left turn. A 66-year-old male was driving a Chevrolet Aveo, also traveling northbound on Road 29, and stopped behind the school bus.
