For the second time in about a week, a big rig failed to stop for a red light and collided with another vehicle. The last one resulted in a chain reaction incident. This time, the accident resulted in a fatality.
Early Friday morning Merced Communications Center of the California Highway Patrol received a call of a crash on Avenue 12 at Riverstone Boulevard.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol, Madera Area office responded to investigate.
