Letters: Sweet, sweet corn

Got a call from Ray Valorosi — his sweet corn was in. I went over and bought two dozen. It looked and punched good. Cooked some up, and it was good.

I used to go the Fresno State, but they lost their crop to “bugs” because they are organic. Tried Ray’s. Really exceptional corn. Eighteen rows, tender and sweet. Why drive just to get hit or miss (corn)? See Ray, and get wonderful corn right here. I am a Midwest guy. I know good corn.

I boil water with salt and butter in it. Salt the ears, and place in water, until the ears change color. Just a few minutes. Butter and salt a little more, and it’s so good.

Enjoy.

Ray’s stand: Road 26 1/2, just past the Madera South High School. Almost to Avenue 12, on left (12285 Road 26 1/2).

Note: This message is the sole opinion of the writer? Not true. His family likes it, too.
