Two years after winning the Div. V Central Section championship, this year’s Matilda Torres Toros girls soccer team was poised for a second title, this time in Div. III.
Despite controlling most of the match, the top-seeded Toros couldn’t find the back of the net against No. 3 Kerman on Tuesday in the first championship of any kind in Toro Stadium.
However, Kerman also couldn’t find the back of the net, and the game ended with a 0-0 tie.
