Supervisors receive sewer update and measure T budget

The Madera County Board of Supervisors received an update from the City of Chowchilla Public Works Department on the Fairmead sewer consolidation project that is currently underway and adopted the Measure T budget for the upcoming 2025-26 fiscal year after a public hearing.

At the request of the Grand Jury, Madera County Supervisors received a presentation giving an update on the sewer consolidation project during the August 12 meeting.

Once completed, it will integrate the Fairmead community’s sewer and the greater area of Chowchilla. Giving the presentation was Jason Rogers, Chowchilla Superintendent of Public Works.
