Madera PD officers responded to Sunrise Rotary Sports Complex for a physical fight involving multiple individuals attending a soccer tournament Saturday afternoon.
During the altercation, an adult victim sustained a non-life threatening stab wound. The suspect was located at the scene, and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and child endangerment charges. The weapon used was also recovered.
This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
