Obituary: Frank Flores, 1925-2026

Frank Flores, born Oct. 3, 1925, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family present. He had an extraordinary life of more than 100 years.

Frank was married to his dedicated and loving wife, Alma Flores, for 53 years before her passing.

His passions in life included, spending time with his family and friends, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and watching football.

He retired from C&H sugar company after 35 years of employment and enjoyed much of his retirement at his home in Oregon. He was a man of deep faith and was a proud patriotic veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.

Frank is proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his daughter Deborah Nelmes, and husband Wendall Evans, son Ron Flores, and wife Angela Flores, son Randy Flores, and wife Betty Flores, and three grandchildren, Jason Flores, Alexandra Flores, and Anna Flores.

Services will be held March 6, 2026 at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera, CA.

Rosary 11 a.m.

Funeral mass 11:30 a.m.

Donations in memory of Frank Flores may be made to the Wounded Warriors project.
