MPD makes gun arrest

Madera Police officers were dispatched to Walmart for reports of a man with a gun Thursday afternoon.

Officers were informed of an altercation that occurred prior to the call, and the suspect fled the scene to a nearby educational facility.

A speedy response resulted in officers locating Jaxziel Paz-Gutierrez at the Learn 4 Life Facility in possession of a loaded unregistered firearm.
