Madera National Little League 10-11-year-old All-Stars pitcher Justin Ornelas tossed a one hitter in the opening game of the District 10 tournament against Madera American.
However, Madera American scored three unearned runs in the fourth inning to come away with the win. Madera American took advantage of a pair of passed balls, a pair of wild pitches, an error and its only hit for a 3-1 victory Thursday.
Both teams played Saturday at Sunnyside in the double-elimination tournament.
