Letter: Relay For Life raised $98,000, but more needed

Another Relay For Life, our 22nd, has come and gone, but NOT the fundraising. As of May 14, we’ve raised over $98,000! We’re NOT done yet and will continue to accept donations through the end of August.

Many thanks go out to ALL of our volunteers, friends, family, and the many local businesses that worked together for the same goal: eradicate cancer! Even more thanks to the Madera Tribune for their awesome coverage and special thanks to Corrie Valdez for her help with our “hot dates”.

We could not be successful without each of you!

Our Wrap Up Potluck will be held on June 20, 5:30 p.m. at CAPMC, 1225 Gill Street. Bring your favorite dish (please bring serving utensils) or dessert, along with any donations you may have. We’ll provide water, paper goods and utensils. We’ll review our event and get a jumpstart on next year’s event to make it even better!
