Saw an ad in the Tribune about chicken wings at the Elks on Wednesday nights for Happy Hour.
We went a couple of weeks ago and again tonight (July 24). BBQ sauce was made by barkeep, Jennifer. Excellent.
The bar has been repaired with an original dome ceiling, and set off with a stained glass window. Window is the Majestic Elk and B.P.O.E. Very nicely done.
Jennifer will be off next Wednesday, but said she will still have the BBQ sauce available. Nice place to be when its 106 outside.
