The countdown is on for Madera Unified’s newest TK through 8th-grade campus, King Husein School, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in August 2026.
The school will be located on the south side of Cleveland Avenue, west of Westberry Boulevard, and will serve up to 1,000 students.
The project was made possible through the generosity of SPAN Construction founder King Husein, who donated 50 acres of land for the new campus. In recognition of his contribution, the school will carry his name and is envisioned as a hub for learning, creativity, and innovation for future generations of Madera students.
