CHP Madera officers responded to a crash between an SUV and a bicyclist, on Cobb Ranch Boulevard, north of Avenue 9 on Sunday at about 10:30 p.m.
A 39-year-old man, believed to be unhoused, was riding a Mongoose BMX-type bicycle, southbound within the southbound lane of Cobb Ranch Boulevard, north of Avenue 9.
A 31-year-old man from Fresno, was driving a blue Lincoln Navigator, southbound on Cobb Ranch Boulevard, approaching the bicyclist.
