The Madera Coyotes boys volleyball team out hit the Sunnyside Wildcats, but waited until the third set to take control of the match in a sweep in Joe Flores Gym.

The Coyotes put down 40 kills in the three sets. However, 22 unforced errors, including 12 hits out of bounds kept the Wildcats closer than Madera would like in Tuesday’s match.

Sunnyside had 23 kills, and got help from six missed serves and four aces.
