CHOWCHILLA — The Board of Directors of the Chowchilla Madera County Fair announced that it has accepted the resignation of Gene Beels as CEO, effective August 31.
Beels has been employed with the Fair in the lead position since August 2017. He has chosen to pursue new opportunities within active retirement, and will continue to reside in Madera County.
“Our team has been very happy with Gene’s dedicated approach to our organization and the important role, we provide within our community,” said Board President Nathan Lewis. “He will be missed.”
