Madera County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a disturbance on Children’s Boulevard (Avenue 9) in the area of Lanes Bridge and Highway 41 in Madera.
Upon arrival Thursday morning shortly before 3 a.m., they discovered a deceased man on fire in the roadway.
An initial call to dispatch reported a woman had set her husband on fire. An adult female is currently detained, but the relationship between these parties is currently unconfirmed. This investigation is in its preliminary stages. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Madera County Sheriff’s Detectives at 675-7770.
