MPD makes stolen vehicle arrest

Sunday afternoon MPD Officer Jose De La O and FTO Brandon Bianchi were patrolling the area of Lake and 5th streets when they observed a stolen vehicle traveling north on Lake.

A traffic stop was initiated resulting in a high-risk stop. The sole occupant, a 43-year-old male resident of Madera County, was contacted and arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle.

It was also determined, he had a no bail felony warrant for his arrest. He was later booked at the Madera County Jail on several charges.
