More than 200 people who included farmers and those who do business with them, attended the annual Farm Fest celebration of the Chowchilla Chamber of Commerce, held at the Chowchilla Fairgrounds. The event included a buffet meal of roast beef, barbecued ribs, potatoes, a green salad, rolls and dessert.
It also included a dessert auction and a silent auction for donated prizes.
Chowchilla 4-H members helped caterer Anthony Freitas, and the Dave Russell Band provided music for dancing.
