Soroptimists award scholarships
The Madera Soroptimist Club hosted a dinner in April to hand out scholarships to deserving high school female seniors in the Madera area. The club handed out 11 scholarships with six going to Madera High School graduates, four to Madera South and one to Matilda Torres during a banquet on April 19.
