Arrest made in assault in Madera

Madera Police Officers responded to the 700 block of G Street regarding an assault on Tuesday.

Officers contacted the victim, an adult male, who suffered a non-life threatening stab wound. The victim was later transported to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect was located and arrested. He was identified as 21-year-old Carlos Aburto Garza.
