The Madera County Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Team (MADSET) investigated multiple vehicle burglaries, which took place over the past weekend in the Riverstone area.
During the investigation, detectives learned that stolen credit cards from the burglaries were used to make purchases in Fresno.
MADSET detectives identified two suspects and, with assistance from the Fresno Police Department’s Adult Compliance Team (ACT), located and arrested both individuals Thursday in Fresno.
During the arrests, a loaded stolen firearm was recovered. Unfortunately, property stolen during the Riverstone burglaries has not been located.
Both suspects are currently on Post-Release Community Supervision (PRCS). One of the suspects had also been arrested by MADSET earlier this year in connection with separate vehicle burglaries.
Both suspects are being booked into the Madera County Jail.
