A 72-year-old male was rated for minor injuries, and later released after a hit-and-run collision involving a vehicle on the 600 block of South C Street on Wednesday evening.
While officers were still investigating the collision the driver, a 52-year-old male, contacted MPD and reported that he may have been involved in a collision on South C Street.
He was identified as the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian. The driver was cited/released for the misdemeanor hit and run.
