Madera County Supervisor Jordan Wamhoff recently made headlines with a social media post involving retail giant Costco and its potential new building in northwest Fresno.

“I wanted to throw it out there that Madera County is open for business,” he said.

Fresno City Councilman Mike Karbassi appeared on a podcast last week, commenting on a court ruling that invalidated environmental approvals for a Costco project near Herndon and State Route 99.
