Stallions close out Highlanders

The Madera South Stallions girls basketball team opened the game well and closed the game well for a 50-35 victory over the McLane Highlanders in North Yosemite League play Tuesday. 


In the first and fourth quarters, the Stallions outscored the Highlanders, 27-6. However, in the second and third quarters, McLane outscored the Stallions, 29-13. 


Madera South took a four point lead into the fourth quarter and forced eight turnovers in a 13-2 quarter.
