Madera’s Public Works Department recently addressed a significant water leak on Olive Avenue, demonstrating the importance of citizen engagement and teamwork, Tuesday afternoon.

Initially reported as a routine leak, staff quickly assessed the situation, but later received feedback from concerned citizens that the leak had worsened.

In response, city staff worked after hours to reduce water flow and temporarily closed Olive Avenue to ensure the safety of both the public and the team.
