What has become an annual occurrence, Madera’s Chase’s Chop Shop earned three top awards in the recently released Best of the Central Valley.
They were named the Best Barbecue for the second year in a row. They also were named Best Catering and placed second for Best Butcher, an award they won three previous years.
“Everything we offer at our store, except for a few local vendors we bring in, we make in house,” butcher Justin Chase said. “They are our recipes. That’s a big draw. We do over 90 different flavors of sausage, fresh or smoked. We do all of our hamburgers and marinated products. The biggest thing for us is the variety of hand made products that is our draw. We see regular customers from San Jose and Orange County.”
