Rosa Guadalupe (Adame) Magos was born on Aug. 30, 1949, to Fabian and Cruz (Macias) Adame. She is a lifelong resident of Madera and worked for Madera Unified School District for 34 years.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ignacio Magos of Madera, three Sons: Ignacio Fabian Victor and Velinda (Inocencio) Magos of Fresno, Joaquin Anthony Magos of Madera, Michael Anthony and Erendida (Martin) Magos of Madera; two Grandchildren: Michael Anthony Magos II and Emma Mina Magos; two Brothers: Fabian and Marcos Adame; and three Sisters: Helen Flores, Margarita Adame and Inez Mazon.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, brothers: Richard and Lawrence Adame; sisters: Graciella Hernandez and Catalina Martinez; in-laws: Victor and Irene Magos; brother in law: John Flores; and sisters-in-law: Sara Adame and Henrietta Magos.

Her infectious laughter and smile were known to all. Some of her favorite things included: music and movies from the 50s and 60s, watching cartoons, drinking a margarita or a Bud Light, yelling “kick it, kick it, kick it” during soccer matches and “get him” during football games. She was also well versed in the false start rule in football and the traveling rule in basketball. She was an example for many peoples inspiration on how to live life and treat people.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026 from 12:30 to 1 p.m., at St. Joachim Catholic Church, followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 1 and Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30. Services will conclude at St. Joachim Church. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
