Due to the high temperatures, the Madera Parks and Community Services Department will be holding Cooling Center on Thursday and Friday at the Pan American Community Center located at 703 E. Sherwood Way from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Refreshments and activities will be provided for participants.
The Madera Police Department’s front lobby at 330 S. “C” Street will also operate as a 24hr. Cooling Center.
