Back in my trick-or-treating days, I would go out with my sister and cousins. When we were done, we ran back to my cousins’ house and dump our loot onto the carpet to see what we got and perhaps trade a few items.
We used to cringe when we saw things, such as walnuts and little boxes of raisins. We weren’t very appreciative of the more healthful treats.
Now things have changed, and I enjoy snacking on raisins, especially the plump, golden ones. I use them quite often when feeling the urge to bake.
