Every day of the world, I walk into my super-packed closet and look for something to wear. Most mornings, I am thinking of a certain thing I want to put on, and (it happens every time) I cannot find that piece of clothing.
I KNOW it is there, but I look, look, look, and then I give up and go get into the shower. The shower is the best place to do my thinking. It is actually that very “think tank” that made me come up with the subject of my column today.
When I get out of the shower, I then have to revisit the task of finding something to wear.
