The Madera County Sheriff’s Emergency Communications Center received a call for service from a man reporting he’d shot his son following a physical assault Wednesday morning at about 9 a.m.
Shortly thereafter, another call came in from the son reporting the shooting. Emergency personnel responded to a residence in the 40000 block of Avenue 14 in Madera.
Based on preliminary information gathered from the scene, MCSO detectives determined a verbal argument between father and son occurred in the garage of the home.
