The California Highway Patrol and the Madera County Sherifr’s Office joined forces for a School Zone Safety Enforcement Operation on Friday.
The focus was protecting students, parents and staff as they arrive at school. The operation yielded 25 citations, five verbal warnings and an impounded vehicle.
