This notice is hereby given that Governor Gavin Newsom ordered a Statewide Special Election to be held on Tuesday, November 4, to determine whether the people of California will approve Proposition 50, the Election Rigging Response Act (Assembly Constitutional Act 8).
For This Election:
- Ballots will be mailed out starting October 6
- Drop Boxes open October 6
- Last day to Register to Vote, October 20
- 11-Day Vote Centers Open, October 25
- 4-Day Vote Centers
Open, November 1 Important reminder: As with every election, if voters return ballots by mail, they must be postmarked by Election Day, November 4.
