Officers make burglary arrests

The Madera Police Department’s night shift was busy from sun down to sun up this week.

Officers hustled to solve multiple burglaries that occurred at several businesses.

Joshua Bishop, 39, was arrested in connection with an attempted burglary at Auto Zone and a burglary to Tractor Supply. John Vasquez, 32, and Robert Strauss, 34, were also caught by officers as they attempted to flee a burglary at Burrito King.
