Honor Flight No. 32 returned to Fresno from a very memorable trip for a full flight of Korean and Vietnam veterans.
Two of the veterans who were aboard Flight No. 32 that returned September 10 were from Madera — Vietnam veterans Wayne Miller, and Richard Smith.
Both were met by family and members of the community and given a hero’s welcome home celebration to honor them and to show gratitude for the services and sacrifices they made for America.
