The Madera Police Department hosted a Swearing In and Promotion Ceremony last week to welcome six new officers and announced the promotion of another.
City of Madera Chief of Police Giachino Chiaramonte welcomed family and friend to Remnant Church on July 30 for the ceremony.
Receiving a promotion to corporal was Kenneth Hall.
There were also new officers introduced — Cipriano Pineda, Jocelynn Markle, Irving Hermosillo De Anda, Faith Rocha and Diego Govea-Torres. Also getting pinned was dispatcher Kyle Matuszewicz.
After each of the officers received their pins, Madera City Clerk Alicia Gonzales gave the Oath of Office.
